Delphi was an important ancient Greek religious sanctuary sacred to the god Apollo. Located on Mt. Parnassus near the Gulf of Corinth, the sanctuary was home to the famous oracle of Apollo which gave cryptic predictions and guidance to both city-states and individuals.  

This piece honors this Greek God offering predictions to all those who come into his presence while enlisting the help with all of the chakras, all items coming from old pieces from my and my family’s history. The head is marble painted to copy the upright bass wood grain. Like all Gods, internal to us and external, they change thoughts, emotions, graces and demands, hence the constantly changing light around his head and heart chakra. This is a large piece with 100’s of lights moving in concert with the God’s offering up and lighting the way for guidance.
