‘Bold’ Winner of the 2020 64th annual Sacramento Arts center ‘Bold Expressions’ show.
Cubism and music were inspirational threads with Picasso, Braque, Mattini, Metzinger and others. The beauty of instruments with their distinct lines, forms, designs and cultural implications influenced the music they created, sometimes inspiring artists to new heights of performance and composition. Taking apart the essences of instruments and combining them into an ensemble within a gloriously beautiful key, Db inspires the composer in me to reach for new depths in the composition itself.
