Terpsichore
I have a great love and passion around all piano related parts that are 100-250 years old. They were well thought out and designed, crafted out of the finest materials of the day. Most of the parts are very hard to find, especially in intact shape. Terpsichore honors piano parts from an 1850 and 1860 American made square grand piano. The elegance of the lines combined with the goddess reminds of Terpsichore who was a goddess "delight in dancing" is one of the nine Muses and goddess of dance and chorus. She lends her name to the word "terpsichorean" which means "of or relating to dance". This piece dances for me in so many ways.
