This piece is about the magic and thrill of being pregnant with one's baby, full of wonder, feeling lifted, the being inside you is the most wondrous and beautiful thing you can imagine. There are few more beautiful moments in a woman's life. As a man, I will never know these feelings, so can only fantasize the possibilities.
I am the carrier of the eggs
I am the one who holds the miracle of life inside me
I am the one who senses this preciousness and am filled with awe
And gratitude for this miracle of life growing inside of me
The nest is not me though
I am merely the host
