CABINET OF CURIOSITIES

In the mid to late 19th century, people had collections of unusual, exotic objects in small and large cabinets. These cabinets held objects from natural history, geology, art, historic relics and antiquities. The classic cabinet of curiosities emerged in the sixteenth century. Made from the top of a 1780’s Scottish grandfather clock, this Cabinet holds curiosities that brings me back in time to centuries old art and memories.
